Systems Implemented to Deliver High Quality Clinical Outcomes

  1. Provides excellent customer service to patients, families, and outside stakeholders.

  2. Maintains a sanitary, organized and efficient work area.

  3. Assists clinical staff with requests to ensure expedited and efficient care delivery.

  4. Maintains records in an organized and confidential manner.

  5. Prepares and delivers correspondence as instructed

  6. Respects at all times the confidentiality of patient records.

  7. Responsible for understanding and adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Plan (CCP) at ISJM.

 

Cost Effective Resource Management

  1. Ensures assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.

  2. Assists clinical staff by ensuring flow of patients, specimens, and documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

  3. Proficiently utilizes computer system and maintains accurate records.

     

Team that Consistently Delivers

  1. Provides day-to-day support of workflow within the work unit; including front end reception.
  2. Act as a team player and works collaboratively within the work unit.

Job Qualifications:

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or G.E.D required.  Clerical experience preferred.

 Licenses and/or Certifications

None Required

Language Ability

Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

 

Physical Demands

Intermittent Sitting, Standing, and Walking.  Ability to lift 35 pounds.  Ability to adapt and be flexible enough to adjust work schedule to meet the needs of the organization.

   

Work Conditions

  • Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
  • Handles emergency or crisis situations.
  • Occasionally subjected to irregular hours.
  • Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances.
