TITLE:

School-Based Mental Health Therapist (Newton County)

SALARY RANGE:

$50,000 - $55,000

DESCRIPTION:

ACCESS Family Care is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide school-based therapy services to public school students in Neosho, Missouri. This is a full-time salaried position with a 9.5-month work schedule that mirrors the public-school calendar.

A generous benefits package is offered for the entire calendar year, and a sign-on bonus may be available for well qualified candidates.

The provider in this position will perform the following duties:

  • Develop relationships and work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, and administrative staff.
  • Complete diagnostic intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students, consistent with evidence-based practices.
  • Provide mental health therapy and behavioral health services for students, designed to promote personal growth consistent with their treatment plans.
  • Educate students and their parents/guardians regarding their diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and therapeutic process.

This position requires a Missouri license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, PLPC, LMFT) and a master's degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution. Supervision toward independent licensure is available at no cost to provisionally licensed providers.

This position will cover multiple K-12 schools in Neosho School District. Due to the nature of the position, working remotely is not supported. Daily travel to area schools will be required. A company vehicle and a gas card is available to employees with a safe driving record.
