ACCESS Family Care is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Scheduler to join our team in Carthage, Missouri. The Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring our patients receive timely, efficient, and coordinated care by managing appointments and supporting clinic operations.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends

Position Summary

The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, maintaining accurate scheduling systems, and providing excellent customer service to patients and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records
Answer incoming calls and assist patients with appointment needs
Coordinate schedules across providers and departments
Verify patient information and update records as needed
Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Ensure a positive patient experience through professional and courteous service

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous medical scheduling or administrative experience preferred
Strong computer skills and familiarity with scheduling systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office setting
Attention to detail and organizational skills
