Pay Range: $17.00-$24.00 per hour, based on previous medical scheduling experience

Access Family Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Scheduler to join our team in Carthage, Missouri. This position plays a vital role in connecting patients with the care they need by coordinating appointments, managing scheduling requests, and providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling needs
• Coordinate appointments across multiple providers and departments
• Verify patient information and update demographic records
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient inquiries
• Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with computers and office software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred

• Previous medical office scheduling experience
• Call center experience
• Proficiency in English and Spanish
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
• Knowledge of healthcare scheduling and patient registration processes

Compensation & Benefits
