Behavioral Health Consultant

ACCESS Family Care – Southwest Missouri

ACCESS Family Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to join our growing team. This role provides integrated behavioral health support within our primary care clinics and plays a key part in improving patient outcomes through brief interventions, assessments, and collaborative care.

 

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Some flexibility in hours  based on patient needs.

  • Travel: Local travel required between ACCESS Family Care clinic locations.

  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Location: Southwest Missouri

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Fully Missouri Licensed LCSW or LPC (required)

  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide brief behavioral health interventions within a primary care setting

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and crisis evaluations

  • Collaborate with medical providers to support integrated patient care

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Participate in care team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
