About the Job:

ACCESS Family Care is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  to join our team! This position provides clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations. This position will be working with a providers in our Cassville MO Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
  • Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical tasks.
  • Assist providers with minor procedures and treatments.
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and supply management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • MA: Certification (CMA, RMA) preferred.
    • LPN: Active MO state licensure required.
    • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience: 2+ year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in English and Spanish, a plus
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with EHR systems.
    • Reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
    • ACCESS Family Care conducts pre-employment drug testing in accordance with state and federal laws.
