Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

ASD is seeking a Mid-Level VIP Systems Support Analyst to provide direct customer support to Comptroller OUSD(C) VIP users. The VIP Systems Support Analyst will have extensive experience in delivering face-to-face VIP Helpdesk end-user technical support for desktop/laptop computers, as well as mobile devices, and will have experience in a DISA or equivalent environment. This position is full-time ONSITE at the Pentagon, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 7:30 am. After-hours or weekend support may be required as needed.

The ideal candidate must be proficient with MS Windows with a minimum of 4 years’ experience administering, have an in-depth understanding of modern Microsoft Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, a full understanding of Microsoft Windows 365 and Microsoft Suite, experience in TCP/IP and VMware Virtualization technologies, and experience in DoD practices.

Responsibilities include the following tasks:

  • Provide face-to-face VIP end-user technical support for desktop/laptop computers and mobile devices.
  • Provide technical support on Microsoft operating systems and network services.
  • Configure Microsoft Office user settings, as required.
  • Oversee JSP Add, Move, Change VIP requests.
  • Acting as a liaison between OUSD(C) users and JSP VIP support teams.
  • Assist in installing and configuring software.
  • Tracking, diagnosing, and coordinating help desk support for OUSD(C) VIP user technical problems.
  • Perform travel support aboard aircraft for equipment setup.
  • Support the enterprise infrastructure to provide desktop and VTC support.
  • Provide MS Windows architecture engineering services (i.e., Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), hardware configuration, management, and maintenance).
  • Ensure the availability and functionality of the Comptroller's critical application.
  • Support the requisition and issuance of SIPR Tokens under JSP Registration Authority (RA) guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain a process to manage unclassified and classified Enterprise and Comptroller-specific mission application accounts.
  • Organize, set up, and support video teleconferencing (VTC).
Required Qualifications:
    • Education/Experience – Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
    • Experience working in the DISA J6 or equivalent Service Desk support environment
    • Experience supporting high level executive and VIP staff
    • 4+ years user support experience 
    • 4+ years of direct functional support experience providing desktop support to government users using DoD applications and business systems
    • 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite/Office 365 implementation and support
    • Working knowledge of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) technologies
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory (AD) infrastructure
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Certifications – Security+ CE certification required; MCP or MCSE preferred.
  • Security Clearance – Minimum Active DoD Secret required.
