You are encouraging, communicative and able to work independently. You have strong relationship building skills establishing relationships with vendors, students, contractors and more! You are able to assess and evaluate YouthBuild participants and act as a mentor when needed. You will get the unique opportunity to develop, facilitate and participate in YouthBuild program activities!
You will provide support and assistance to program participants throughout all aspects, from exploration to acquiring of job, career or post-secondary placement.
You will help participants navigate through the exploration process to identify outcomes that will lead to positive economic and life situations.
You will need a two-year degree in a human service-related field with at least 2 years’ experience working with youth OR a four-year degree in a human service-related field. Experience working with youth in a placement role is preferred. The job requires a valid driver’s license and a background check.
