A Day in the Life
As a teacher you’ll help develop the classroom environment; you’ll plan and implement daily activities and assessments; you’ll observe and record child development and behaviors; and you’ll work side-by-side with a teacher’s assistant, an aide and volunteers in the classroom.
Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or a related field, with early childhood teaching experience.
You must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation, compassion, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
Wages
You’ll be eligible for a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Full-time, 40 hours/week, 10-month school year (mid-August 2025 through May 2026.) Wage with Associate's Degree: $18.87 - $26.41/hr; With Bachelor's Degree: $21.60 - $30.24/hr. Benefits: medical, dental and vision; life insurance, short-term disability. Retirement plan/benefits that include employer contributions. Paid time off, holiday pay and more.
Potential schedule: 9 hrs/day M-Th; 4 hours Friday
