A Day in the Life
  • You will assist eligible clients with obtaining and maintaining adequate housing by providing supportive services. 
  • You will identify client needs and services to meet those needs. 
  • You will:
    • Manage services related to accessing and obtaining housing. 
    • Orient clients to housing programs and referral options, support services, and housing options. 
    • Serve as a liaison between landlord, tenant, service providers and the community related to housing needs. 
    • Complete and submit required reports. 
    • Assist with grant writing and grant proposal submission. 
    • Provide individualized supportive housing services for clients. 
    • Communicate courteously and professionally and maintain working relationships with others in carrying out job functions. 
    • Attend and represent the program and agency in a responsible, professional manner at all meetings. 
Qualifications
  • You’ll need an Associate’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or closely related Human Service field. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree and prior experience in a human service organization is preferred. 
  • A valid driver’s license or other evidence of mobility is required. 
  • You must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion for those we serve. 
  • Applicants must pass a Background Study. 
  • Familiarity with impoverished and/or unhoused populations, computer knowledge, record keeping and/or client intake is preferred.  
Wages
  • You’ll be eligible for a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Full-time, 30-40 hours/week, $19.27 - $26.98/hr. Benefit eligible: medical, dental, vision, life/add/std, retirement plan, holiday pay and paid-time off.

Potential Schedule: Weekdays between 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. dictated by program needs.
