A Day in the Life
  • You will serve Cass County families in Walker and Pine River. 
  • You will build trusting, supportive relationships with families as you connect families to resources such as housing, healthcare, employment, and education.
  • You will support parents in promoting their child’s learning, growth, and well-being.
  • You will maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward family goals.
  • You will collaborate with Head Start teachers, health staff, and community partners.
Qualifications
  • Within 18 months of hire, you will need to have, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. BI-CAP offers Family Service Credentialing to complete this requirement, if needed.
  • Two years’ worth of related experience preferred.
  • You must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion for those we serve. 
  • Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
 
Wages
You’ll be eligible for a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Full time, 40 hours/week, 10-month school year reduced hours in summer months. $19.58/hr - $27.41/hr. Benefit eligible: medical, dental, vision, life/add/std, retirement plan, holiday pay and paid time off.

Schedule: Flexible: work four 9s and a 4, or five 8-hour days. Start time between 7-8 a.m.
