A Day in the Life
You will serve Cass County families in Walker and Pine River.
You will build trusting, supportive relationships with families as you connect families to resources such as housing, healthcare, employment, and education.
You will support parents in promoting their child’s learning, growth, and well-being.
You will maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward family goals.
You will collaborate with Head Start teachers, health staff, and community partners.
Qualifications
Within 18 months of hire, you will need to have, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. BI-CAP offers Family Service Credentialing to complete this requirement, if needed.
Two years’ worth of related experience preferred.
You must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion for those we serve.
Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
Wages
You’ll be eligible for a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Full time, 40 hours/week, 10-month school year reduced hours in summer months. $19.58/hr - $27.41/hr. Benefit eligible: medical, dental, vision, life/add/std, retirement plan, holiday pay and paid time off.
Schedule: Flexible: work four 9s and a 4, or five 8-hour days. Start time between 7-8 a.m.
