A Day in the Life
  • As a teacher you’ll help develop the classroom environment; you’ll plan and implement daily activities and assessments; you’ll observe and record child development and behaviors; and you’ll work side-by-side with a teacher’s assistant, an aide and volunteers in the classroom.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or a related field, with early childhood teaching experience.
  • You must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation, and compassion for those we serve.
  • Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.
Wages
  • You’ll be eligible for a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week, 10-month school year (mid-August through May) Wage with Associate's Degree: $20.95 - $29.32/hr; With Bachelor's Degree: $23.98 - $33.57/hr. Benefits: medical, dental and vision; life insurance, short-term disability. Retirement plan/benefits that include employer contributions. Paid time off, holiday pay and more. Eligible for retention bonuses.
  • Schedule: 9 hrs/day M-Th; 4 hours Friday
