Job Description/Essential Functions:

District 19 CSB offers an exciting full-time opportunity providing mental health and substance abuse services to adolescents. Essential job duties of this position include: completing individual and group counseling, case management, appropriate documentation, and networking within the community.




Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):

Licensed or licensed-eligible clinician, minimum one year providing Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse services to adolescents; Proficiency with personal computers. 

Preference
Experience as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.

Salary:
This position is a Grade 210, starting salary is $50,304. Salaries are negotiable. 

Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

District 19 Community Service Board is a qualifying employer for public service loan forgiveness (PSLF). PSLF is a federal program available to full-time government and nonprofit employees who have Federal Direct Loans and have made 120 payments on the Federal Direct Loans (after Oct. 1, 2007) may be eligible for the remaining loan balance to be forgiven. Position requires valid Driver’s License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher, and an extensive pre-employment background check and drug screening.
