Job Description/Essential Functions:

District 19 Community Services Board is offering a great opportunity for a full time licensed professional to work in the Hopewell/Prince George and -Surry Clinics to administer and provide oversight of services to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Incumbent will conduct clinical diagnostic assessments through Same Day Access to determine eligibility for services and referrals.  Position will provide direct services and clinical oversight of outpatient services. 

Essential Job Duties consist of:
Clinical administration and oversight of Same Day Access (SDA), MH/SUD outpatient therapy, and Crisis intervention. Conduct clinical comprehensive needs assessment and other necessary admission paperwork for individuals entering services. Provide individual and group counseling to individuals enrolled in the OP/ IOP programs. Conduct and complete crisis pre-admission screenings as needed.

Provide oversight of services and supervision of staff in MH, SUD, and Peer programs. Supervising clinic staff in the absence of clinic manager. Ensure quality services and compliance with regulations and mandates. 


Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):
Must have a Virginia’s board recognized license to include but not limited to LPC, LCSW,LSATP, LMFT plus hold a CSAC, ACC, or SAP.

Must have Master's degree in human services or related field.
 

Experience facilitating Substance abuse or co-occurring treatment, providing individual and group therapy to consumers with substance use and co-occurring disorders, assessment and diagnosis of Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Disorders, experience writing clinical reports and summaries to include appropriate substance use diagnosis.

Experience in completing psycho-social evaluations. In addition, adhere to confidentiality policies, and maintain professional boundaries. 

Knowledge of 42 CFR.

2 years supervisory experience required. 

License required. 

Certified Preadmission Pre-screener obtained within 90 days of hire.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.


Preferred:
Work experience in group/individual MH/SUD and ES in public agency.
Supervisory experience working with consumers in the Mental Health and Substance use.
Experience in crisis intervention and criminal justice.

Salary:
Position is a Grade 214, starting salary is $63,508/annually.
Salaries are negotiable. 

***$3000 Sign-On Bonus*** Restrictions Apply. 

Hours:
Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm. Some weekends and evenings hours.
Travel to other agencies within D19 CSB catchments.
