Job Description/Essential Functions:
District 19 CSB is seeking a CBITS Facilitator (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools) to provide skill-based group intervention to secondary students in Colonial Heights Public Schools.

Essential job duties of this position 
include individual, group and family counseling, case management, completing MH assessments and treatment planning, appropriate documentation, and networking within the school/community. 


This is a grant-funded position and is located primarily in the Colonial Heights, Virginia area.

Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):

Successful applicant must have a Master’s degree in a human service or related field, a minimum of one year providing direct clinical experience to children and adolescents.   Must have at least one year providing substance use or mental health treatment is required.

Prefer current license as a Licensed MH Professional (LMHP) or be Board registered in the state of Virginia with License Eligible status (i.e. LPC Resident, Supervisee in Social Work, LMFT Resident, etc.).

Prefer experience working in or with schools, experience providing individual and group therapy, and experience working with SED children and adolescents. Prefer strong knowledge of child mental health issues and diagnosis. 

Prefer clinical record documentation skills and experience working with computers.

Salary:
This is a Grade 210, starting salary is $50,304.00.
Salaries are negotiable.
