Job Description/Essential Functions:

D19 is seeking a 28 hour per week clerical support position for the Hopewell-Prince George Clinic. Essential job duties include answering the phones and directing calls; greeting consumers in a confidential and professional manner; verifying insurance information; entering data in the electronic record; opening and entering data for SDA; scheduling appointments; auditing medical charts; collecting fees and writing receipts.

Provides administrative support which requires understanding of processes, data, and/or operations of the department.  Verify benefits, data entry consumer's information in electronic records, type correspondences to collaborative agencies, complete vouchers, receive co-payments, complete weekly submission of consumers' payment.  Submit financial information for reimbursement. Work denials to resubmit for reimbursement and follow up to ensure authorizations are complete. Complete initial documents with clients for Same Day Access services. 


Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):

Must have high school diploma or the equivalent and be proficient on PC.

Preferred applicants will have at least 2 years' experience in mental health or medical office management; receptionist experience; experience with electronic health records; data entry experience.


Preferred Qualifications / Other Relevant Job Information:
This is a 21-28 hour per week position with no benefits.

This is a Grade 201 hourly position.  Starting hourly rate for this position is $13.74.

Position requires pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening, to include a valid Driver's License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher.
