Salary Range: $28-$35hr.

We are seeking a skilled Lowboy Driver to safely transport heavy construction equipment between job sites, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Transport: Load, unload, and transport heavy construction equipment using lowboy and flatbed trailers.
  • Inspections: Perform both pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and integrity of equipment and vehicles.
  • Communication: Coordinate with dispatch to manage delivery and pickup schedules effectively.
  • Safety: Adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations and DOT guidelines, demonstrating leadership in safety compliance.
  • Documentation: Maintain all necessary paperwork required by company policy and local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years with Flatbed/Lowboy/Tractor Trailer hauling experience
  • Valid Class A CDL license with a DOT Physical Examination Card and a clean driver’s record
  • Basic knowledge of construction and/or construction equipment
  • Experience loading, unloading, chaining and binding equipment to a lowboy or flatbed trailer.
  • Able to operate a variety of construction equipment safely.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work extended hours and have a flexible schedule.
  • Lift and move heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical assessment test.

Preferred

  • Able to demonstrate leadership in the compliance of federal motor carrier safety regulations and DOT guidelines.
  • Maintains all paperwork required by company policy and local, state, and federal regulations.
