Summary/Position Overview:
The Customer Operations Schedule Coordinator is responsible for providing support for the planning, scheduling, and reporting of all Customer Operations construction and maintenance activities while ensuring safe operations, compliance and asset availability related to the correct resources, parts, materials, permits, tools and equipment for successful execution and completion of the work orders.  

Duties and Tasks:
Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards by:  - Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures. - - - - Ensuring compliance with all environmental and health standards. Completing all required HSE training. Inspecting safety equipment and Ensuring safe clearance of all lines and equipment. Support effective operations and administration by:  - Preparing work orders in EAM, which include customer request and/or damage to overhead or underground facilities. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Managing maintenance workload, and scheduling work to match available manpower and equipment availability. Scheduling and coordinating corrective maintenance, and necessary resources. Reviewing the work orders to make any necessary modifications to priority, for planning and scheduling. Progressing workorders through the proper status according to the workflows and practices. Managing schedule backlog to ensure jobs are completed.  Working along with the other departments to ensure all schedules and activities can be met. Supporting Supervisors, Foreman/Leads with executing the schedule. Liaising with Warehouse on staging of parts/materials for scheduled Work Orders. Developing a work plan for each work order to be worked from the waiting-to-be-scheduled file.  Coordinating schedules in conjunction with Planning Supervisor, Overhead Construction, Underground, Service crews, other utilities, agencies, and contractors.  Planning for required outages and communication and notification to stakeholders (as needed). Attending planning and scheduling meetings where involvement is required.  Maintaining information related to Maintenance work orders.

Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies, job rotations and cross training. - - Meeting targets and KPIs and ability to achieve results. Contributing to team efforts by completing other duties as assigned. 

Academic/Skill/Experience Requirements:
The Customer Operations Schedule Coordinator will have an associate degree or certification in project management or planning with a minimum of five (5) or more years of experience in Transmission and Distribution with background experience as a Transmission and Distribution Engineer, Linemen II or above and/or Resource Management and Planning Engineer. They will have successfully completed BGCSE examinations in Mathematics, English Language and Science with C or above, along with MS office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher and Visio. A minimum of two (2) years of experience with GBPCs work management system (EAM), GIS, OMS and Microsoft Office Suite required. They will have knowledge of CMMS and ArcGIS systems, contract writing, easement preparation, overhead and underground construction standards and required materials. They will have knowledge of the areas of compliance, scheduling, planning, and forecasting of resources. The Customer Operations Schedule Coordinator will have the ability to give written and verbal instructions and to create effective working relationships with fellow employees, outside agencies, other departments and the public.
