POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Energy Maintenance Manager is responsible for the optimization of diesel performance and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of GBPC's generating facilities.
POSITION SCOPE:
They will provide leadership and management to maintenance personnel and train for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of generating units, assuming responsibility for technical evaluation, mechanical methods, and operational performance oversight for the diesel generation fleet.

The Energy Maintenance Manager will be an effective manager with demonstrated experience in managing budgets and implementing cost saving measures, supervising others, leading teams, organizing work processes, developing operating procedures, communicating effectively both orally and in writing, making decisions, exercising good judgment, assuming responsibility for assigned projects, resolving conflict, solving problems and mediating employee disputes, working harmoniously with and in support of others. He/she will function in a manner consistent with the organization's commitment to excellence and integrity, operating in every instance with a clear acceptance of personal responsibility, accountability, and ethics and will be willing to work flexible hours, with weekends, holidays, and nights as necessary.
The Energy Maintenance Manager should have an earned bachelor’s degree in engineering or the equivalent. A minimum of 5 years at project management level in the planning or maintenance department of an industrial facility or the equivalent.
