Summary/Position Overview:
The Customer Operations Maintenance Analyst is responsible for providing support for the planning, scheduling, analysis and reporting of all Customer Operations construction and maintenance data while ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance and asset availability related to the correct resources, parts, materials, permits, tools and equipment for successful execution and completion of the work orders.
Duties and Tasks:
Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards by:
- Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all environmental and health standards.
- Completing all required HSE training.
- Inspecting safety equipment, and
- Ensuring safe clearance of all lines and equipment.
Support effective operations and administration by:
- Entering data from customer operations and maintenance reports/ jobs to visualize KPIs and stats.
- Creating project plans/ trackers and monitoring various maintenance milestones and dates, such as preventive maintenance, warranty, etc., to ensure that work orders are created in a timely manner.
- Identifying and reporting on trends analysis.
- Developing daily, monthly and annual reports as needed.
- Ensuring that correspondence and report deadlines are met, and that all information distributed is accurate and complete.
- Creating scope of work and independent cost estimates, where necessary.
- Developing Preventive Maintenance Program (Master plan) in the CMMS/EAM system.
- Updating job plans in the CMMS/EAM system with estimates of resources required for work planning and execution.
- Compiling, analyzing and interpreting CMMS data to develop and present accurate predictions.
- Identifying problems, recommending, and applying corrective actions related to EAM operation and maintenance.
- Translating business requirements into specifications that are used to implement required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
- Developing, monitoring, and coordinating effective performance measurement, cost analysis and reporting tools with respect to components, repairs, types, and personnel.
- Developing and tracking budgets and capital work for the Overhead, Service and Underground Department.

- Working with management to determine appropriate metrics or indicators to establish and track.
- Designing, analyzing, evaluating, implementing, and managing maintenance performance metrics to improve the facility’s operation and maintenance programs. This includes forecasting, monitoring, and analysing the use of departmental physical and human resources.
- Leading discussion around the collection and analysis of CMMS and departmental KPI data for operational and financial decisions.
- Generating reports regarding Asset life cycle, costs, and obsolescence to plan for repair, upgrade, or replacement. - Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies, job rotations and cross training.
- Performing quality reviews on active and completed work, documenting results, and providing updates to internal customers. - Contributing to team effort by completing other duties as assigned.
Academic/Skill/Experience Requirements:
The Customer Operations Maintenance Analyst will have associate degree or certification in project management or planning with a minimum of five (5) years’ of experience in Transmission and Distribution, Linemen II or above and/or Resource Management and Planning Engineer. They will have successfully completed BGCSE examinations in Mathematics, English Language and Science with grades of C or above. They will have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with GBPCs work management system (EAM), GIS, OMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Visio) required.
They will have knowledge of CMMS and ArcGIS systems, compliance, scheduling, planning, and forecasting of resources, and knowledge of overhead and underground construction standards and required materials. The Customer Operations Maintenance Analyst will have call centre, sales, or customer service-based experience. They will have experience working with people in teams, multiple projects, scheduling, resource allocation and quality assurance or process review/design. They will have the ability to read and interpret vendor manuals and drawings, write detailed repair reports, and learn and apply maintenance best practices. They will have the ability to create effective working relationships with fellow employees, outside agencies, other departments, and the public; ability to give written and verbal instructions; ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
