The GIS Support (Temporary) will be responsible for utilizing the capabilities of ESRI ArcGIS application suite, other 3rd party software and a variety of computer hardware devices; perform spatial analysis, field data collection, database management and reporting for supporting projects and various organizational initiatives. This position requires managing the accuracy of geospatial data and ensures that it stays accurate, reliable to assist with planning, decision-making, and project implementation.

The ideal candidate will be a detailed-oriented and technically proficient individual with a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and electric utility operations. A degree in a related field and GIS certification are preferred.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GIS tools and software, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Utility Network, MicroStation, and PLSD CAD. Proficiency in drafting using AutoCAD is essential. Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills are required, along with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
