POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Sr. Director of Finance & Logistics manages all aspects of the company’s financial health and long-term growth. They establish and maintain the company’s financial strategy for earning sustainable profits and oversee the finance and accounting operations and financial forecasting services or activities to manage costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety. In addition, this role is responsible for oversight of the corporate Shared Services department; - purchasing, warehousing, distribution, logistics and fleet services, and oversees procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs and direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.
POSITION SCOPE:
The Sr. Director of Finance & Logistics will establish and maintain the company’s financial strategy for earnings and oversee the finance and accounting operations and lead the activities of the Shared Services Department, including strategic sourcing, category, and supplier relationship management, procure-to-pay transactional processes, logistics and materials management, and fleet services. They will manage the accounting and economic aspects of the company by enforcing a financial strategy aimed toward sustainable and profitable long-term growth. Additional duties include overseeing the finance department, conducting financial assessments, generating reports, establishing company budgets, participating in regulatory strategy and development, and conducting financial risk assessments on business initiatives.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, maintaining accounting professional development requirements, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by completing other duties as assigned.
The preferred candidate will have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, along with at least seven (7) years’ experience in financial management and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in senior supervision or executive management.
They will have strong business and financial acumen, impeccable mathematics and analytical skills with demonstrated financial capability. They will be attentive to detail, yet able to summarize and communicate financial information effectively for Management, Executive and Board consumption. They will be a self-starter with the aptitude to work independently and as part of a team, and exhibit excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, time management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
They must possess interpersonal and organizational skills, strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in conflict resolution, decision making, delegating, supporting, motivating, and challenging employees toward improved performance; and interpret information, develop and implement solutions, and identify creative approaches to problem solving; and strong organizational skills with experience managing resources for complex issues with competing deadlines.
