Brief Job Description:
Responds to calls for assistance from the public, reports on crimes committed, patrol an assigned area and apprehends criminals in Livingston County

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent, US Citizen, Must be at least 21 years of age, valid driver's license and no felony convictions.

Successful completion of written and agility tests.

Power Test & Written Test will be held on March 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Livingston County Public Safety Complex, 844 W. Lincoln St, Pontiac, IL 61764  MUST bring a photo ID with you to testing.

Merit Commission Interviews will be held on March 11, 2026 at the Livingston County Public Safety Complex following the testing.
