POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position is under the supervision of the Extended Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This position is responsible for general maintenance of the Extended Facilities.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Performs minor preventative maintenance on equipment such as lubricating, cleaning, and changing the vacuum bags.
  2. Moderate lifting of equipment’s required moving furniture by sliding on floor. Assistance is required in moving heavier items such as sofas, beds, and bookshelves.
  3. Responsible for maintenance crew clean up and all commons areas and grounds clean up and ice and snow removal around entryways.
  4. Assists with support activities such as freight movement for appliances and furniture.
  5. Perform and/or assume other job or work related duties as assigned by the Extended Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

General Knowledge of cleaning agents and proper usage. Must be able to work under supervision. Valid Alaska Driver’s license with good enough driving history to be insured to drive Maniilaq vehicles preferred.
