Title: Child Care Caseworker I/II/III Range: 12/13/14

The Child Care Caseworker provides administrative duties to support the Child Care Program and Workforce Development (WFD). This position provides support and encouragement to program participants. This position requires multi-tasking and timely completion of tasks in coordination and collaboration with all WFD staff. This position will report directly to the WFD Director or designee.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Child Care Caseworker I
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years administrative assistant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Able to type competently and utilize computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and willing to train in the software system: TAS). Valid Alaska driver’s license (or obtained within 3 months of hire date) with a good enough driving record to be covered by Maniilaq’s insurance. Must have excellent verbal communication and writing skills to have the ability to interpret and apply state and federal policy and laws and statutes.
Child Care Caseworker II
Met all requirements of Child Care Caseworker I plus an additional year of the Child Care Program or Workforce Development Programs work experience, must demonstrate the ability to assist, complete and maintain program reports.
Child Care Caseworker III
Met all requirements of Child Care Caseworker II plus an additional year of the Child Care Program or Workforce Development Programs work experience, demonstrate the ability to edit and maintain internal process by working with the software program staff.
