POSITION SUMMARY
This role will evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical practices. Establishes standards with which to measure the effectiveness of clinical practice and services. Establishes mechanisms for data collection, data organization, and data presentation that promote the organizational philosophy of performance assessment and improvement. This position reports to the Quality Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Clinical Quality Analyst I (Range 15)
Graduation from an accredited LPN program. Must hold a current LPN license in the State of Alaska. Two (2) years’ of demonstrated experience in a health care facility using performance improvement methodologies. Ability to interpret and process data in an analytical manner. Knowledge of modern nursing principles, techniques, and procedures for the care of patients. Ability to work autonomously with little direction. Ability to design and present instructional materials for varied audiences, including a strong command of English, both written and verbal in order to write reports , training materials and communicate with staff, agency representatives and the public. Ability to utilize various computer programs including Cerner and Microsoft Office programs. Must have successful experience interacting with a diverse employee population. Must have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational and time management skills. Must be able to travel to village clinics.
Clinical Quality Analyst II (Range 16)
Must meet the requirements for Analyst I, with the LPN license and certification being an exception. Must have an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited college or university. Must hold a current RN license in the State of Alaska
