POSITION SUMMARY

This position is under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and the Maintenance Coordinator. This position is responsible for assisting technicians with projects, campus grounds beautification, grass and shrub cutting, general clean up as well as minor maintenance preparation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Assist technicians with moving heavy equipment, supplies and machinery

2.       Responsible for keeping campus lawn cut and shrubs cleared. clean up and all common areas and grounds

3.       Assists with projects indoors and outdoors.

4.       Perform and/or assume other job or work-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and the Maintenance Coordinator.

Job Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

General knowledge of, and use of hand tools, lawn mowers, weed trimmers. Must be able to work independently on grounds maintenance. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds safely. Be a team player, willing to break a sweat at times, and learn.
