Title: Community Health Aide Trainee Range: 12 +10 steps

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides first line of health care in the village clinic setting under the guidance of the Clinic Supervisor, higher level certified CHA, and CHP C/I. Must be readily available to attend the training requirements to advance to a level CHA-I. Must work within scope of practice and cannot exceed the level of training completed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent, and must successfully complete the TABE test requirements. Must attend training as scheduled. Willing and able to provide village medical health services on a routine and emergency basis and the ability to provide services under stressful situations. Ability to lift 50lbs, stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to speak Inupiaq desirable.
