POSITION SUMMARY

Directs, controls and is accountable for the Vaccination Programs, Ambulatory & Outpatient Services and for the growth and development of assigned ambulatory & outpatient initiatives.  Develop long-term and short-term business strategies, operational plans, and oversee implementation of the strategic plan for assigned areas.  Be responsible for strategic management and facilitation of project delivery, refinement, and development collaboration with key stakeholders across Maniilaq. The Ambulatory & Outpatient Services Manager reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Leads continuous improvement efforts that promote ambulatory growth, development, and revenue enhancement.

2.       Maintains collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and customers that lead to measurable ambulatory strategies.

3.       Provides input into strategic planning and implements initiatives. Ensures that division plans align with operational plans, and Maniilaq/Network goals.

4.       Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, partner on ensuring competency, compassion, and patient-centeredness.

5.       Monitors, communicates, and works to improve patient, physician and staff satisfaction.

6.       Plans, develops, implements and evaluates ambulatory programs and initiatives including capital and other resource requirements, expected operating revenues and expense organization of program personnel and other operation components.

7.       In alignment with established strategic initiatives; creates effective networking in order to meet the needs of ambulatory growth strategies, aligned with Maniilaq mission and values.

Job Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associate Nursing degree or Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in healthcare field.  Bachelor's degree or higher preferred or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully perform the job. Minimum of 5 years of healthcare leadership closely related experience in an ambulatory framework.  Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.  Experience in developing successful working relationships at all levels of the organization.  Experience in creating models of care.  Experience in building service lines and consensus among Physicians.  Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability.  Effective communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.  Ability to be flexible, lead change, remain current with healthcare environment changes and translate/ discern and interpret the potential impact on assigned departments/ community(s).
