POSITION SUMMARY
Performs general snow removal for Facilities Services, MHC, Ferguson Building, Residential Apartments, Lake Street House, PHN, Family Services, Putyuk, Tupqich, and other Maniilaq Properties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs mechanical functions including, but not limited to: lubrication of site equipment, air filter changes and washable air filters, vibration monitoring, etc., determining parts required for repair, diagnosing, diagnosing all common faults of mechanical equipment by inspection and using appropriate tools of preventative maintenance, and inspecting.
2. Responds to service calls in a timely manner.
3. Responds to emergency situations such as chemical spills, and hazardous conditions, taking appropriate action as needed.
4. Operates a variety of motorized equipment including pick-ups, steer skid loaders, and snow blowers.
5. Snow removal.
6. Shall alternate on call duties w/ other Housing and Extended Facilities employees.
7. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have some knowledge of heavy equipment. Must have CDL.
