POSITION SUMMARY
This position is under the Social Services Department. This position is responsible for assisting with reception and clerical office duties and light housekeeping. This position will report directly to the program supervisor.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborates and cooperates with appropriate staff.
2. Performs general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, data entry, copying, etc.
3. Formats, edits and proof reads documents.
4. Reception duties include receiving incoming phone calls and good customer service skills.
5. Performs clerical duties as required, including typing letters, memos, etc.
6. Maintains files in a secure and organized manner.
7. Compiles and inputs data into computer system.
8. Prepares all purchase orders, travel requisitions and check requests.
9. Copies and distributes information as needed.
10. Maintains the proper appearance of the office as assigned.
11. May transport clients or staff.
12. Performs other clerical duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have good administrative and clerical skills as well as knowledge of computer hardware and software programs. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to type well enough to efficiently carry out the duties of this job. Must be willing to travel to villages is required. Must be able to execute assigned duties professionally.
