Title: Extended Facilities Administrative Assistant Trainee/ I/ II Range: 11/12/13

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides clerical support for the Extended Facilities staff. Assist with scheduling and preparation for upcoming village travel. This position will report directly to the Extended Facilities Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Update all files including personnel, check requisitions, purchase requisitions, travel requisitions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Administrative Assistant Trainee
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Proven ability to apply policies and regulations on a timely and consistent basis. Ability to keep accurate records and prepare documents. Establishes and maintains positive and cooperative relationships with staff and clientele. Must possess current Alaska driver’s license and have a good enough driving history to be insured to drive Maniilaq vehicles.
Administrative Assistant I
All requirements of Admin Assistant Trainee plus one year clerical experience. Experience in creating and maintaining filing systems. Intermediate level of computer applications. Ability to operate all office equipment. Excellent organizational skills.
Administrative Assistant II
All requirements of Admin Assistant I plus one year clerical experience. In- depth knowledge of extended facility program and its mission, projects, and operations. Ability to manage property and operations when manager is not available. Proficient with spreadsheets, database and word processing computer applications
