Key Duties and Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: To provide on the job training and mentorship to associates.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Excelling in current job; not on any type of disciplinary action

REQUIRED: BLS/CPR certification.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited MA school, MA certification or NCT/LMRT/RT License.

EXPERIENCE: Preferably 2+ years of experience in a high-volume urgent care center, primary care practice or emergency department. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • On the job training of new associates.

  • Perform 45 day assessments on new associates.

  • Mentoring new associates.

  • Present training topics during meeting and on huddle.

  • Re-training of associates with performance deficiencies.

  • Perform assessments on established associates when new training initiatives are implemented.

  • Complete assessment paperwork.

  • Participate in training sessions and meetings as requested.

 


Job Qualifications:
    •  JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficient in eCW

    • Strong skills as an MA or RT/LMRT/NCT

    • Knowledgeable of MedSpring policies and procedures

    • Ability to multitask

    • Understand workflow

    • Be a good role model

    • Demonstrate company culture

    • Good written and spoken communication skills

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Ability to lift 15-30 lbs.

    • Required to move from one location to another within and outside of the building; push, pull and reach; bend; stand for long periods of time; and sit for long periods of time.

Hours/schedule expectation will vary to meet business demand.
