Responsible for the overall discipline program of the school including monitoring behaviors, developing behavioral intervention plans with families and teachers, regular and open communication with families, and follow-through with the policies outlined in the Student Discipline Handbook. Requirements include, but are not limited to: Bachelor’s degree in the Human Service field required. Certified in Life Space Crisis Intervention Genuine desire to provide support to students as they work towards their goal of successful completion of the program. Demonstrated ability to facilitate group counseling in the areas of anger control, social skills building and moral reasoning. Proven ability to de-escalate students and redirect them to appropriate classroom behavior
