The Management Analyst will support the U.S. Navy to collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government. He or she will define the nature and extent of problems and analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment status, or expenditures. This individual will interview managers and employees while observing their operations.
The Management Analyst will develop solutions to problems; in the course of preparing recommendations, he or she must understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture. Additionally, the Management Analyst will be required to prepare and solve mathematical models.
This individual will also report findings and recommendations to the Government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. When needed, the Management Analyst will also assist with the implementation of the suggestions made.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Must currently have a SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Experience:
- Must have 7 years’ experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
- Must have significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
- Must demonstrate ability to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions.
