  • Deputy Lead for contractor support to a NAVSEA Program Office.
  • Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
  • Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
  • Maintains and manages the customer interface at senior levels of the customer organization.
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables. 
  • Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
  • Develops and enforces work standards.
  • Provides quality assurance, communicates goals, objectives, and policies.
  • Provides financial management and project administration.
  • Supervises and directs staff on a daily basis.  

Security Clearance Requirement

  • An active SECRET security clearance is required.  

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in a related field is required.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Equivalent, such as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience of 10 years of professional experience in the Defense acquisition process, contract management, technical and business management; 3 years of the experience must have been within the last 5 years, and have been in support of DOD contract management is required.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DOD acquisition management, contract, technical, and business management is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DOD contracts and contract analysis and working knowledge of DOD contracting processes in the technical or programmatic area is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Post Delivery and Engineering Support is desired, but not required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Acquisition Management is desired, but not required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ABS/Coast Guard shipbuilding requirements is desired, but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience in JHSV/EPF MLP/ESD, ESB/AFSB is desired, but not required.
  • Must possess and exercise diplomatic tact and have the capability and capacity to develop and manage complex business relationships with multiple organizations.
  • Must be proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products and tools.
  • Travel (10-20%) may be required.
