The Material Coordinator will support the U.S. Navy to coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with existing schedules or department supervisor’s priorities. He or she will review schedules and confer with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material. This individual will requisition material and establish delivery sequences according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material. The Material Coordinator will arrange for in-plant transfer of materials to meet schedules, work with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation, and examine material delivered to production departments to verify if type is specified.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Must currently have a SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Experience:
- Must have 5 years of total professional experience in applying policies and procedures relating to ordnance management.
