  • Support development of technical data/specifications, observe and track technical testing, ascertain and define technical configuration of equipment and technical accuracy of supporting documents/software, development and create critical path information for testing analysis and production, review and/or analyze Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Proposed Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs), Waterfront Changes (WFCs), ship class documents, and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) for engineering and/or logistic content; analyze technical validity of technical manuals, and ascertain and define technical accuracy of documents for combat systems requirements on U.S. Navy surface combatants and amphibious warships.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for Combat System Integrated Product and Process Team (CSIPPT) program matters in support of the Combat System Manager (CSM), including monitoring shipbuilder combat systems design, procurement, integration, installation, and checkout of both hardware and software.
  • Provide test witness support for testing of equipment installed in the Combat Systems Acceptance and Checkout Facility (CSACF).
  • Provide engineering and technical support for all activities affecting the Combat System and C4ISR equipment including interfaces.

Security Clearance Requirement   

  • An active SECRET security clearance is required.

Qualification Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in technical, installation and testing of Combat Systems, Weapons, Electronic and Aviation Systems aboard Navy vessels is required.
  • A high school diploma is required; a GED or certificate from a vocational training curriculum may be substituted.
  • Must possess the skills and ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Must possess and exercise diplomatic tact and interface with the customer.
  • Must be proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products and tools.
  • Travel (10%) may be required.
