Some VNA volunteers work hundreds of hours a year, while others might work an hour or two a month. Whether behind the scenes or in public, all VNA volunteers touch the lives of others in extraordinary ways.

VNA Companion: Direct patient/family contact and administrative/clerical responsibilities which may entail working in our Lifestyle/Wellness kitchen, participation in VNA's Friendship Circle as well as access to private health and/or confidential information.
Administrative: Clerical assistance where the volunteer may come into contact or work within the general vicinity of clients or back office clerical assistance with no client contact/exposure.
Community - Events: Short term, special event assistance with general community contact.
· Volunteers must be at least 18
· We request at least a 6 month commitment for volunteering –hours and schedules vary by position.
· Please note that in compliance with healthcare regulations, abackground check physical/drug screen and orientation are part of the volunteeronboarding process.
