Position Summary: A leadership position focused on providing direct supervision and clinical services to the youth and young adults being served by LYFE utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT) and Wraparound Milwaukee Philosophy and Process. The supervisor and clinician responsibilities are two equally essential roles. The supervisor responsibilities include direct supervision of the LYFE staff to ensure comprehensive services are being provided to meet the individualized needs of each person served by LYFE. The clinical work includes providing direct clinical services to each LYFE individual.

Working knowledge of positive youth/young adult development; patience and understanding of challenging life needs; clinical knowledge related to mental health and co-occurring needs, the ability to interact with youth, young adults, and caregivers in a calm and professional manner; ability to follow oral and written instructions and cues; ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in crisis situations; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to perform basic computer functions; highly developed organizational skills with the ability to multitask; sensitivity towards cultural, ethic and life needs.
Minimal Qualifications and Salary Schedule:
Master’s Degree and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Two years of experience serving youth or young adults with mental health and co-occurring needs. One year of supervisory experience is preferred. Complete 20-40 hours of CCS (DHS 36) training and 40 hours of mandatory training in Wraparound philosophy and policies. Working knowledge of computer applications preferred (Windows and Microsoft Word). Ability to display cultural competence by responding respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, languages, classes, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions and other diversity factors in a manner that recognizes, affirms and values the worth of each individual. No convictions or license revocations that would fail a caregiver background check; valid driver’s license, automobile and sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements.
Work Relationship and Scope:
Reports directly to the Assistant Program Director of Wraparound Programs. Regular communication and collaboration with Wraparound Milwaukee and the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division is imperative. Has contact with a wide variety of individuals including youth/young adults and family members, other program staff, including consulting Psychologist/Psychiatrist, and other collateral contacts, neighbors, funders, Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services, Children, Youth and Family Services(CYFS), Children’s Court officials, Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services(DMCPS), inpatient hospitals, MPS staff and administrators, staff of youth serving agencies and the general public.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed primarily in the community, including people’s homes and various community-based locations. Ability to work in an office setting. Hours average 40 hours per week.
Physical Demands:
