INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER - HEAD START

A Day in the Life
  • Develop and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
  • Plan and lead engaging daily activities aligned with Head Start standards.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child’s development.
  • Collaborate daily with a co-teacher, classroom aide, and volunteers to support children and families.
Qualifications
  • Minimum: Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with experience teaching young children.
  • Must meet MN DHS Rule 3 licensing requirements and pass a DHS background study.
Wages
Full-time, 40 hours/week (10-month school year) Dates: Mid-August 2025 – May 2026 Wage Range: With CDA: $17.64–$24.69/hour; With Associate's: $18.87–$26.41/hour; With Bachelor's: $21.60–$30.24/hour. Retention Bonuses Available. Benefits: Competitive package, including health, dental, retirement, and paid leave.

Schedule: 9 hours/day Monday–Thursday; 4 hours on Fridays, School year: Mid-August 2025 – May 2026
