INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER - HEAD START

A Day in the Life
  • Develop and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
  • Plan and lead engaging daily activities aligned with Head Start standards.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child’s development.
  • Collaborate daily with a co-teacher, classroom teacher assistant, and volunteers to support children and families.
Qualifications
  • Minimum: Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field, with experience teaching young children.
  • Must meet MN DHS Rule 3 licensing requirements and pass a DHS background study.
Wages

Full-time, 40 hours/week (10-month school year). Wage Range: With CDA: $19.58–$27.41/hour; With Associate's: $20.95–$29.32/hour; With Bachelor's: $23.98–$33.57/hour. Retention bonuses available. Benefits: medical, dental and vision and life insurance. Retirement plan/benefits that include employer contributions. Paid time off, holiday pay and more.

Schedule: 9 hours/day Monday–Thursday; 4 hours on Fridays. Current school year runs through May 2026.
